Features: A wolf meets a fox and asks him to find food for him. The fox, not daring to defy the wolf's order, steals a pancake from a farmhouse for the wolf and then immediately flees. After finishing the pancake, the wolf still wants more and goes to the farmhouse to steal another one himself. Unbeknownst, as soon as he enters, the farmer's wife discovers him and beats the wolf badly. A few days later, the wolf forces the fox to find food for him again. This time, the fox leads the wolf to the cellar of the farmhouse. Seeing so much meat inside, the wolf is overjoyed and sits down to eat heartily. However, the fox is too scared to share and nervously guards the cellar entrance, watching warily. When the farmer's wife comes with a stick, the fox escapes in a hurry. The unlucky wolf, having eaten too much, gets stuck at the cellar entrance and cannot escape, only to be caught again by the farmer's wife and beaten to the brink of death. As his last breath, the wolf seems to realize something and whispers to himself, "I finally understand."
