Publish Date: 2003-09-01
Features: This book starts from the historical development and evolution of Western and Russian literatures in the 20th century, dividing it into three parts to discuss Western Realist Literature, Modernist Literature, and Russian Literature. Considering the current time constraints in foreign literature course teaching at domestic universities and the need to highlight key points, this book does not cover the literatures of certain regions in Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and the Americas. For literary history knowledge in these areas, interested readers and students can obtain it through the references and recommended reading lists provided at the end of the book.
