Fu Biao's 5,000-word contributions mainly consist of articles about his relatives and his hometown in Shandong, while the rest of the content is mostly written by Zhang Qiufang, recounting the beautiful moments she shared with Fu Biao. From the perspective of the first person, Zhang Qiufang records the details of her meeting, acquaintance, and falling in love with Fu Biao, as well as several key moments in his acting career, their marriage and childbirth, Fu Biao's hospitalization, and his passing. The book also includes numerous precious photographs of the couple. Imprints was written by the couple, with the same wit and humor, optimism and openness to life, evident in every word. Especially Zhang Qiufang, she treated the entire writing process as an outlet for her emotions, with her feelings of joy before his illness and deep sorrow after his passing expressed vividly in the text, giving the words a sense of overflow. Imprints also dedicates a chapter to words written by friends for Fu Biao, including personal recollections from friends such as Zhang Yimou, Xu Fan, Ge You, Han Hong, and many others. The first half of Imprints recounts the lively and amusing life of Fu Biao's family of three, filled with many humorous stories—truly a tale of joy. However, the latter half primarily details Fu Biao's life after his liver transplant, making it a deeply sorrowful and touching story.
