The author has been composing music for classical poetry for over twenty years and has won the Excellence in Composition Award at the International Poetry Singing Festival. To facilitate readers in learning to sing and recite, professors from the Vocal Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music—Yu Huicheng, Qin Zhongjian, Zhou Jianliang, and the author himself—have recorded (demonstration singing) and included it on an accompanying audio disc. The first edition of this book had a positive social impact. For the second edition, some existing tracks were revised, and over fifty new compositions were added. The author firmly believes that this book will gain recognition from even more readers.
