Features: This series of books is compiled in line with the spirit of quality education for primary and secondary school students as instructed by the Ministry of Education of China, based on the new teaching and textbooks. The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education" specify the following requirements for reading skills for fifth and sixth graders:

7. Read narrative works and summarize the main events, briefly describe the most memorable scenes, characters, and details, and express personal likes, dislikes, admiration, aspirations, and empathy. Read poems to grasp the general meaning, imagine the scenarios described, appreciate the poet's emotions, and be inspired and motivated by outstanding works to pursue beautiful ideals.
8. Learn to skim to broaden knowledge and gather information as needed.
9. In understanding texts, recognize the different uses of commas, semicolons, periods, and.
10. Recite outstanding poems and articles, paying attention to the tone, rhythm, and emotional content of the works. Memorize 60 outstanding poems and passages.
11. Use libraries, the internet, and other information channels to try exploratory reading. Expand reading horizons, with a total of no less than 1 million words of extracurricular reading.
This series emphasizes the understanding and mastery of basic concepts and principles; focuses on training in basic knowledge and skills, centered around key and difficult points, comprehensively applying foundational knowledge to cultivate students' analytical and thinking abilities, aiming to comprehensively improve students' reading skills.
