Features: Lingnan culture is a distinctive, vibrant, and colorful regional culture within the Chinese nation's cultural landscape, and its development and utilization have garnered societal attention. While the exploration, organization, and research of the rich connotations of Lingnan culture have already been carried out in the "Lingnan Treasury," its positioning is at an academic level, lacking a popularization function, and due to limitations in its editorial policy and format, it cannot encompass some specific and nuanced aspects of Lingnan culture. To build Guangdong into a cultural powerhouse, it is essential to first raise the public's awareness of the connotations of its local culture. Therefore, it is necessary to publish a series of popular readers to fulfill this task. The original intention behind publishing the "Lingnan Culture Knowledge Series" stems from this need. Thus, the "Lingnan Culture Knowledge Series" can be regarded as a supplement and extension of the "Lingnan Treasury." The series adopts the form of popular readers, with a wide range of topics and broad coverage, striving for concise language, rich illustrations, and blending knowledge with readability, making it a knowledge series that the public enjoys. The series, in the form of popular readers, introduces the environment, types, landscape features, architectural characteristics, formation reasons, cultural figures, value, protection, and folk culture of Lingnan (primarily referring to the Pearl River Delta region). The text is concise, illustrated, and blends knowledge with readability, making it a knowledge book that the public enjoys.
