Grammar Compendium for Standard Japanese Course for Chinese Speakers serves as a reference for classroom teaching and self-study. Its features include clearly organized and concise explanations of grammatical phenomena, moderate difficulty levels of example sentences, and thorough comparative analysis of linguistic differences. The book covers all grammar points and sentence patterns from the Standard Japanese Course for Chinese Speakers (both the upper and lower volumes), explaining each grammatical item in units with the structure of continuation, examples, sentence patterns, sample sentences, and exercises. For more challenging grammatical points, annotations and charts are provided to distinguish their meanings and usage. Additionally, some lessons include sections for grammar summaries and knowledge review, helping learners consolidate previously learned grammar, thereby enhancing the systematicity of the explanations. Learners using this book are advised to carefully read the example sentences before understanding the grammar annotations. The chief editor of this book is Wang Qi, with deputy editors Li Shuzhi, Jin Jingshan, and Zheng Dongsheng. Jin Jingshan wrote lessons 1–12, Zheng Dongsheng wrote lessons 13–24, Li Shuzhi wrote lessons 26–37, and Wang Qi wrote lessons 38–49. The planning and overall editing of this book were completed by Wang Qi.
