Features: The outstanding feature of this arrangement lies in its adaptation of the original piece to the techniques of two flutes. It is noteworthy how the two parts are so well balanced, with the two flutes taking turns to be the soloist. K?hler generally remains faithful to his source material but does not blindly follow the original. In addition to occasional free treatments of ornamentation, dynamics, and emotional expression, we can also observe more significant changes, such as omitting certain motifs, inserting new ones, or even deleting entire sections. Clearly, not all of the variations seem to suit the new performance style.
