Bob Gill is a designer, illustrator, copywriter, filmmaker, and teacher. He started as a freelancer in New York and, in 1960, suddenly decided to move to London, where he stayed for 15 years. He also co-founded design studios with two top-tier creative designers in the UK. Gill is currently a freelance designer and continues to teach, having held solo exhibitions in Europe, South America, the Far East, and the United States. He has been inducted into the New York Art Directors Hall of Fame and was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Design and Art Direction.
