Features: Seven Star Valley, a mysterious place that even the "emperor" himself cannot enter without a special, is a huge stage where human life dramas unfold: Over a thousand officers and soldiers from the Engineering are ordered to build nests for a new strategic missile in Seven Star Valley. Unbeknownst to them, they face misfortune, with eight engineering soldiers buried in the tunnel. The rugged and resolute "hawkish" figure, the commander of the Engineering, Shi Wanshan, and the outwardly gentle yet inwardly fierce "doveish" figure, Zheng Hao, the deputy division chief of staff, cross paths in Seven Star Valley due to this accident. Sun Bingqian and Huang Baihong, a pair of traitors to their country, whose public identities are foreign merchants but whose actual profession is espionage, trigger a dazzling modern espionage war centered around Seven Star Valley. This book is a comprehensive and multi-faceted novel that presents the life of China's strategic missile engineering soldiers. It not only writes about the heroic deeds of this special group that are worth singing and lamenting, but also depicts their tragic fate with no other choice.
