It reflects the joys and sorrows of young men and women during their transformation, humorously showcases the rich and unique inner world of teenagers, and describes a splendid, dreamlike youth and a life as illusory as a dream. Running for six years, it has been deeply loved by a wide readership. This volume introduces Li Mengling, a seemingly ordinary high school girl who is actually a super-powered beauty with the ability to transform and save the Earth. Of course, all of this happens in her dreams. However, with the help of the dream guide, Rabbit Annie, Mengling's dreams seem to be coming true. Meanwhile, Mengling's friends who also love dreaming—Sun Yuzhou, Guo Youyong, and Wen Mo from the universe band—are facing setbacks. Their secret plan to make money in the sky is on the verge of collapse. Just then, a mysterious figure from the United States, the cowboy, makes his appearance in Dream People.
Dream People has been adapted into a television animation series by China Central Television (CCTV). It is CCTV's first large-scale youth-themed animation adapted from a domestic manga. The series features the theme song performed by Zhang Hanrun, a contestant from the Super Girl competition. After its broadcast on CCTV, it received an overwhelmingly positive response.
