Starting from spring of 2000, after more than a year of careful preparation, it was successfully held in Changsha, the birthplace of the Wu bamboo slips, on the centennial of bamboo slip discovery. Over one hundred and seventy scholars and experts from home and abroad gathered in grand assembly to jointly explore the fruitful achievements of bamboo slip research, review the development of bamboo slip studies over the past century, and look forward to the bright prospects of bamboo slip studies in the new century. This was a rare learning opportunity for us. This book contains some of the contents of the International Academic Symposium on the Wu Bamboo Slips of Changsha and the Discovery and Research of Bamboo Slips over the Past Hundred Years.
