E prose poetry is a pioneering genre. The White movement began with prose poetry, as contemporary poetry had not yet taken shape. At that time, everyone wrote what we now call prose poetry, such as Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, and Liu Lanong. Later, when contemporary poetry stabilized, people turned to writing it. However, contemporary poetry has also encountered many problems. Where will its final liberation lie? Some scholars argue that it lies in prose poetry. This trend has emerged both domestically and internationally. For example, Chang Yao's later contemporary poetry was written in prose form without line breaks, and Xu Chi later compiled his poetry collections by arranging all previously published lineated poems into prose form. Many young authors write poetry, prose poetry, prose, or other genres. The younger generation of prose poetry authors represents the future's hope. It is not about "crossing" the "high wall" of predecessors but about building one's own unique "high wall." Talented authors, in the face of worldly ambitions and gains, are more patient in solitude and more determined to push forward.
