Features: Huanggang High School, founded in 1904 in Huanggang, Hubei Province, was designated as a key high school in Hubei Province in 1953 and was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction." Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive educational feature of "comprehensive development with special talents" and exploring a teaching style characterized by "seeking truth, refinement, novelty, and innovation." The outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality-oriented education and only one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements. When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang High School possess? What ability does it have to turn sand into a tower? What skill does it have to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. If one thinks that Huanggang High School merely follows the of the college entrance exams and passively engages in test-taking, that is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully grasp the intentions of test-setters and deeply understand their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower. While Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems, it strongly advocates for students to break free from it. It opposes students from doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and monotonous problems but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to engage in flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop their abilities, and enhance their qualities through the problem-solving process. If Huanggang High School has any other successes, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and abundant teaching achievements. To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized first-line core teachers from the school to meticulously plan and compile three series of books: "Huanggang High School Homework Books," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Materials." The "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Materials" series adopts a "full simulation" format to highlight its features. Whether in terms of the quantity and difficulty of open-ended or conventional problems, it strives to closely align with the college entrance exams, practicality, innovation, and practicality. Targeting the different time periods and characteristics of the first, second, and third rounds of college entrance exam review, we have positioned the first-round training materials as unit exercises, the second-round training materials as thematic exercises, and the third-round training materials as simulated exams, comprehensively and progressively addressing the problems students encounter during the third round of review from three perspectives and levels. Part of the content of this series is derived from internal materials used by our school and exchanged with friendly schools, while the other part is newly supplemented based on recent changes in college entrance exam questions, now compiled and published for the first time. This series also reflects the following writing philosophy and features: 1. Appropriate exercise positioning: In terms of exercise arrangement, this series focuses on the consolidation and gradual improvement of exam points, question types, and methods related to knowledge points, and the complexity and difficulty of the questions are progressively aligned with the college entrance exams. 2. Detailed solution hints: The answers at the end of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough solutions provided for difficult problems. The timely and insightful hints scattered throughout the series often play a pivotal role. This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' questions, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
