Features: With an increasing number of students engaging in art studies, the competition in art college entrance exams has become increasingly fierce. The difficulty and content of the exams have continuously risen, placing higher demands on students' painting skills. In art college entrance exams, it is common to see students who possess solid painting fundamentals and good intuition, often receiving praise from classmates and teachers in daily painting evaluations, yet fail to achieve ideal results in the actual exam due to unfamiliarity with the format and content of the exam. This has led many art students to believe that the exam is purely a matter of chance, with no discernible patterns. In reality, although the content and format of art college entrance exams have been evolving, and art grading does involve a degree of subjectivity, there are still certain patterns to the exam. As long as students understand and master the patterns of the art college entrance exam and grasp the techniques, the exam becomes less unpredictable.
Based on the new characteristics and changes in recent years' art college entrance exams, we have invited expert teachers who have been involved in creating and grading the exams to meticulously compile this series of books. Through research and analysis of art entrance exam questions from different regions and institutions in recent years, as well as tracking surveys of a large number of candidates' performance in art college entrance exams, the series comprehensively examines the content, features, exam strategies, and painting techniques of the art college entrance exam. The aim is to help candidates familiarize themselves with the exam, to the greatest extent possible, tap into their potential, approach the exam with ease, and perform at their highest level.
There is no shortcut on the path of art, but with diligent study and practice, coupled with the exam-taking techniques introduced in this book, candidates can certainly achieve their desired results. This is also the greatest aspiration of our editorial team in publishing this series of books.
