Features: This book takes the evolution of intelligent network technology as its main line. It first introduces the basic principles of intelligent network technology, then analyzes and compares the limitations of intelligent network technology in current closed networks such as fixed telephone networks, mobile telephone networks, broadband networks, and IP networks. Finally, it introduces and analyzes several representative directions in the development of intelligent network technology toward openness, distribution, and integration, namely CORBA-based intelligent network technology, TINA-based intelligent network technology, mobile agent-based intelligent network technology, and PARLAY/JAIN-based intelligent service support networks.
