Features: A collection of exquisite prose by the renowned literary figure Feng Zikai, comprehensively describing the events experienced and encountered by the author during his growth, expressing his personal feelings and experiences. Feng Zikai (1898.11.9—1975.9.15), originally named Feng Run and Feng Ren, was from Chongde, Zhejiang. In 1914, he entered Hangzhou Zhejiang Normal School, studying music and painting under Li Shutong. In autumn 1918, Li Shutong became a monk at the Tiger Running Temple in Hangzhou, greatly influencing his thoughts. After graduating from normal school in 1919, he co-founded Shanghai Special Normal School with several classmates in Shanghai and served as a drawing teacher. In 1921, he went to Japan to study painting, music, and foreign languages. Upon returning in 1922, he taught drawing and music at Chunhui Middle School in Shangyu, Zhejiang, and formed friendships with Zhu Ziqing, Zhu Guangqian, and others. In April 1924, his painting "After the People Depart, a Hooked New Moon in the Sky" was first published in the literary journal "Our July." Subsequently, his works were published in "Literary Weekly," with the title "Comics." From then on, China began to use the term "comics." In 1924, he founded Lidu Middle School in Shanghai. In 1925, he established the Lidu Society, with participants including Mao Dun, Chen Wangdao, Ye Shengtao, Zheng Zhenfeng, Hu Yuzhi, and others. In 1929, he was hired as an editor by Kaiping Publishing House. In 1931, his first prose collection, "《》," was published by Kaiping Publishing House. After the July 7 Incident, he led his family to flee. After the liberation, he served as the president of the China Artists Association, the president of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Institute, and the vice president of the Shanghai Foreign Cultural Association.
