The "2006 Gaokao Final Exam Sprint Test Papers from Top Schools Nationwide" Red Book series consists of twelve volumes: Chinese, Mathematics, English (two versions—listening and non-listening—where the listening version is accompanied by an audio tape), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, Geography, Liberal Arts Comprehensive, and Science Comprehensive. Each volume includes three sections: "2006 Gaokao Final Exam Sprint Test Papers from Top Schools Nationwide," "Preparation Guidance from Top Teachers," and "Answer Key and Detailed Explanations." The question types, quantities, and scoring of the Chinese, Mathematics, Liberal Arts Comprehensive, and Science Comprehensive papers are completely modeled after the 2005 national Gaokao paper. The English papers are published in two versions—listening and non-listening—where the non-listening version follows the pattern of the national Gaokao Paper III, and the listening version follows the pattern of national Gaokao Papers I and II.
