The chapter on planned immunization has been incorporated into the child immunization chapter, combining immunization theory with practical application. The basic content of child health care has been further emphasized on auditory and visual health care, as well as the integration of health care with early education. The chapter on collective child health care has been expanded to include health care measures for primary and secondary schools.
With the current shift in the disease spectrum among children and adolescents, the prevention and treatment of chronic organic diseases and accidental injuries have become key measures to ensure children's health. This edition has made significant revisions to the relevant chapters. In summary, over one-third of the chapters in this book have been revised to better convey new and better scientific information to readers.
