This book explores the connotation, approaches, and policy measures of the rise of Central China from the perspective of strategic development, making it an outstanding collection of papers from the Central Rise Strategy Forum. The theme of the "2005 Central Rise Strategy Forum" was "Exchanging Experiences and Discussing Policies." To ensure the successful conclusion of this forum, Hubei Province established the preparatory committee for the "2005 Central Rise Strategy Forum." The preparatory committee organized extensive research and surveys involving relevant departments of the central government, the six central provinces, and experts. They also decomposed and implemented the forum's main report and thematic reports. Additionally, the high-level and influential leaders and experts invited by the forum preparatory committee submitted a series of high-quality research outcomes. These outcomes are filled with insightful knowledge. After the forum concluded, we further organized, edited, and proofread the submitted outcomes, and in some cases, we communicated with the relevant authors to refine and improve the content. To further advance the in-depth development of the research strategy for promoting the rise of Central China, we compiled the outcomes of this forum into a book.
