Success and adventure are directly proportional. All success stems from daring to think, dare to do, and dare to take risks. Success cannot be separated from adventure. But most of us are afraid to take risks because society has yet to fully foster a culture that tolerates failure. "Slay the leading bird," if you take risks and succeed, you will be envied; if you fail, you will be mocked—this is an undeniable reality. "Better safe than sorry," and "think before you act" is always right. But do you know? No matter how meticulously you plan, risks will always arise unexpectedly. Without countless adventures, humanity would not have evolved from the primitive lifestyle of eating raw meat and drinking water to the modern civilization of sitting in air-conditioned rooms enjoying coffee today. Encourage adventure, but never advocate reckless action. For successful individuals, the prospect of risk is determined by the likelihood of winning. Before making a risky decision, don’t ask yourself how much you can win, but rather how much you can afford to lose. Blindly taking risks without any certainty will only lead to bigger losses and further away from success. Here’s a message for you, hoping you can bravely face risks: If you lose your property—you’ve only lost a little; if you lose your honor—you’ve lost much; if you lose your courage—you’ve lost everything.
