Features: This series of books is written according to the new national education curriculum standards for primary and secondary schools issued by the Ministry of Education of China, and is designed to complement the experimental teaching materials for compulsory education curriculum reform in Beijing. To help students strengthen their foundational knowledge and basic skills, facilitate parents in providing effective guidance for their children's studies, and assist teachers in aligning with teaching plans and progress while closely integrating classroom teaching practices, we have specially invited experienced teachers from Beijing—those with many years of teaching and research experience, in-depth understanding of primary school teaching methods, and a grasp of the current spirit of curriculum reform—to meticulously compile this series of workbooks. The series consists of 24 volumes, divided into upper and lower semesters for each academic year. The books have the following features:
1. They are compatible with the experimental teaching materials for compulsory education curriculum reform in Beijing and the "New Parents' Guidance Series" published by Science Popularization Press, including "Math Practice for You" and "Chinese Practice for You." Through these resources, students can receive multi-angle, comprehensive, time-efficient, and effective reinforcement training.
2. Based on the timeless teaching principle of "reviewing the old to learn the new and progressing step by step," the series emphasizes the training of foundational knowledge and basic skills, focusing on key and challenging areas while providing hints and guidance. Typical problems in the answer key are explained and analyzed.
3. It strives to cultivate students' analytical and thinking abilities, aiming for multi-purpose problems to broaden their thinking and enhance their ability to comprehensively apply foundational knowledge.
4. The practice methods are flexible and diverse. Each lesson in every volume includes exercises, which are categorized as basic, intermediate, and slightly more challenging, progressing from simple to complex. Each unit concludes with a self-assessment test, and the book also includes a comprehensive final self-assessment test, with answers provided for some exercises.
Our goal is to enable students to review, consolidate, and comprehensively apply the Chinese and math knowledge they have learned through various forms of practice. This helps them initially grasp the general principles of using language and mathematics, lay a solid foundation for reading, writing, and mathematical calculation skills, and significantly improve their academic performance.
