Features: This book is used as the textbook for the educational program of China Central Television (CCTV). It is co-authored by People's Education Press and Kokon Publishing Co., Ltd. of Japan. The book is divided into four volumes: Elementary (Upper and Lower), Intermediate (Upper and Lower). Each level consists of two relatively independent basic stages, all of which have now been published. The book is written by renowned scholars in Japanese linguistics, Sinology, and Japanese language education, fully considering the needs of Chinese learners of Japanese. It emphasizes building a solid foundation while not neglecting practicality, striving to help readers learn standard modern Japanese. The Elementary (Upper and Lower) volumes are equivalent to Level 3 of the Japan Foundation Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), while the Intermediate (Upper and Lower) volumes are equivalent to Level 2.
