Features: With the rapid development of China's economic construction, people's living standards have greatly improved. More and more people and families are beginning to focus on quality of life, enjoying the fruits of interior design. Interior design has demonstrated tremendous social value. It not only brings significant changes to lifestyles and living spaces but also promotes and creates the future of humanity. The 21st century is both a new era for design and a crucial turning point for design education in China. Currently, China's design education is flourishing and has made substantial progress, especially with the widespread establishment of design programs in various universities across the country, making it a mainstream of modern art education. The School of Art and Design at Harbin University of Science and Technology has been established for nearly 20 years and is a pioneer in modern higher design education in Heilongjiang Province. After years of construction and development, it has achieved a certain scale and strength, offering six specialized directions such as decoration, advertising, environmental art, ornamentation, computer science, and music education, along with three laboratories and one research institute. We place great emphasis on improving teaching quality and nurturing students' practical skills. During their time at school, students not only complete their major courses but also actively participate in social practice, engaging in real-world design projects. They have gained recognition from enterprises and various sectors of society, with many of their proposals being accepted and implemented.
