Features: The essay question, as a new type of question in the 2003 Judicial Examination, did not initially attract much attention from candidates due to its relatively low weight ratio. Moreover, because the scope of the essay question was too broad and there were no standard answers, there were very few coaching books specifically for it. Even when mentioned in existing books, the coverage was merely superficial. In contrast, the essay question in the 2004 Judicial Examination not only doubled in quantity but also accounted for one-third of the points in Volume 4, highlighting its increasing importance. The authors of this book are scholars and graduate students who have been actively involved in the training field of the Judicial Examination (Lawyer Qualification Examination) for many years. They deeply understand the significance of the essay question and are aware of the dilemma in the market where there are no specialized coaching books for it. After nearly half a year of dedicated research, they have presented their—the High-Resolution Deciphering of Essay Questions for the Judicial Examination—to all candidates. This book is divided into three parts:
Part 1: Deciphering the Secrets of Past Exam Questions. Through an analysis of the essay questions from the 2003 and 2004 Judicial Examinations, this part provides candidates with a concise and effective guide for reviewing, preparing, and answering essay questions on the spot.
Part 2: In-depth Explanations of Key Topics. This is the core section of the book. It carefully selects fifteen topics from the four major areas where essay questions may be posed: Legal Theory, Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law, and Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law. The focus is primarily on the fundamental theories of legal theory (including constitutional law), supplemented by key points from administrative law, criminal law, and civil law that are likely to be tested. Each topic follows a three-part structure:
(1) Detailed Theoretical Explanation. Summarizes and provides an in-depth introduction to the important theoretical knowledge covered in the topic, enabling candidates to grasp it quickly and comprehensively in a short time.
(2) Practice of Answering Strategies. Extracts and summarizes key points based on the scope of the Judicial Examination essay questions, summarizes answer strategies, and helps candidates master practical answering techniques.
(3) Case Analysis. Combines real-life examples to explain how to apply the answering strategies, improving candidates' problem-solving skills.
Part 3: Simulation Exercises. Selects typical practice questions based on the scope and characteristics of the essay question in the Judicial Examination, providing hints on answering strategies after each question. The goal is to help candidates improve their ability to analyze and solve problems, thereby laying a solid foundation for success in the final exam.
