Article 1 To regulate the on-road duty and enforcement behavior of traffic police, ensure road traffic safety and smooth traffic flow, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of traffic participants and traffic police, this specification is formulated in accordance with the "Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant regulations.
Article 2 This specification applies to traffic police performing tasks such as maintaining traffic order, correcting and penalizing traffic violations, handling traffic accidents, executing traffic guard duties, and assisting the public on the road.
Article 3 When on duty, traffic police shall comply with regulations by wearing proper uniforms, wearing People's Police badges, carrying police credentials and duty equipment, and keeping patrol vehicles clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with equipment.
