Features: Huanggang High School, founded in 1904 in Huanggang, Hubei Province, was designated as a key high school in Hubei Province in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction." Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive educational feature of "comprehensive development with special talents" and exploring a teaching style characterized by "seeking truth, refinement, novelty, and innovation." The outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality education and merely one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements. When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang High School possess? What is its ability to turn sand into a tower? What is its skill in transforming ordinary into extraordinary? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively engages in test-taking is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test-setters and profoundly grasp their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower. While Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems, it strongly advocates for students to break free from it. It opposes students from doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and monotonous exercises but requires them to complete necessary problems. We encourage students to engage in flexible and diverse problems with broad applications, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop abilities, and enhance their qualities through the problem-solving process. If there is any other success Huanggang High School has achieved, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and abundant teaching achievements. To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized first-line core teachers from the school to meticulously plan and compile four series of books: "Huanggang High School Homework Books," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam Second and Third Round Training Questions," and "Huanggang High School Middle School Entrance Exam Comprehensive Review." The "Huanggang High School Middle School Entrance Exam Comprehensive Review" series adopts a modular format with key components such as "Middle School Entrance Exam Key Points Prediction" and "Example Problem Analysis" to highlight its features. From any perspective, it strives to closely align with the middle school entrance exam, practicality, innovation, and utility. Part of the content of this series is derived from internal use materials and exchanges with friendly schools, while the other part consists of newly supplemented materials based on recent changes in middle school entrance exam questions, now compiled and published for the first time. This series also reflects the following compilation philosophy and features: 1. This series is based on textbooks, providing a detailed and thorough review of the entire junior high school curriculum. In each knowledge unit, it emphasizes the balance of teaching, examples, exercises, and evaluations, helping students quickly grasp the content of the unit. 2. This series is maximally aligned with the requirements of the middle school entrance exam. Most of the examples and exercises included are taken from recent middle school entrance exam questions across various provinces and cities, greatly enhancing the targeting and timeliness of the series. 3. This series also emphasizes the extensibility of knowledge explanations, with a particular focus on developing students' thinking skills, practical life application abilities, and interdisciplinary competencies.
