Features: Our library has always attached great importance to translating academic works from all over the world. These translations were previously published as separate volumes, making it difficult to see the system as a whole. Only by compiling them into a series can they complement each other and form a magnificent collection, which is both convenient for study and reference and beneficial for cultural accumulation. For this reason, we began to publish them in series starting from 1981. Due to the current printing capabilities, we publish fifty volumes each year. Since we adopted the original printing molds, the translations have not been reproofread, and the formatting is not entirely uniform. All prefaces and postfaces that were usable in the original translations have been retained as they were, while some have been corrected or removed. We hope that scholars and translators at home and abroad will give us criticism and suggestions to help us make this series even better.
