Features: This is a theoretical attempt to think about and research the individuality of philosophy, based on a true grasp of the way of thinking in Marxist philosophy. Marx completely broke through and negated the pursuit of eternal and unchanging ultimate truth in Western traditional philosophy, consciously taking practice as the highest principle of his philosophy, establishing a philosophical view full of new ideas and individual expression, and achieving a historic transformation of all old philosophy. Human practice shows that humanity is constantly generated through innovation. This book understands and recognizes the individuality of philosophy as follows: Starting from analyzing the questions in the existing philosophical views in China, it explores the theoretical origins of the scientification and absolutization of philosophy since modern times, leading to its rigidity, and analyzes the current state of the loss of individuality—or the loss of self—in modern Chinese philosophy. From this, it proposes the significance of researching the individuality of philosophy. Philosophy is eternally rooted in the human life nature. Although philosophy has appeared in various forms throughout history, its eternal essence is the expression of human nature. Human nature is human individuality. What a person is, and how human nature is, has always been a focal point of philosophical concern. However, the philosophical understanding of humans does not lie in seeing what humans are, but in how to see humans and how to define human nature. The generation of human nature, or human individuality, is, in reality, a historical process, and humans generate their individuality through an exchange of essence. The essence of the individuality of philosophy is the self-awareness of human individuality.
