The Chinese translations selected are the most commonly used, with the principle of one word per meaning. In cases where one word has two meanings and they belong to different disciplines, they are separated by a semicolon (;). If they belong to the same discipline, they are separated by a comma (,). When it is necessary to specify the discipline of certain Chinese translations, the relevant information is noted in brackets. The spelling of English terms follows British English, and the phonetic symbols are also British.
