Features: This is an interesting book. The first part discusses women and the vast world seen through a woman's eyes from various perspectives. The second part collects powerful short stories and essays from a female writer's 20-year career, from her breakthrough debut "Four Women in Their Forties" to the heart-wrenching "My Wet Nurse," set in the red earth with a woman's boundless heart, to the mysterious "A Black Sun on the White Earth of Jingdezhen." It embodies the idea of women writing about women. Hu Xin's work stands the test of time and remains fresh with each reading.
