Features: The history of Go in China is long-standing, one of the excellent cultural heritages created by the Chinese people, with a deep grassroots foundation. It is an intellectual competition where black and white stones represent two armies confronting each other, combining science and art. It has always been one of the favorite cultural and recreational activities, thus enjoying a broad grassroots foundation. To promote the scientific and standardized development of Go as a specialized field, we have complied with the joint document [2001] No. 7 issued by the Ministry of Education and the General Administration of Sport of China, which requires the introduction of Go, International Chess, and Chinese Chess in schools. Based on the collection, research, and organization of relevant Go literature and documents, and referencing a large number of published and distributed chessbooks and periodicals, we have compiled "Fundamentals of Chinese Go," which provides a comprehensive and systematic introduction to Chinese Go. In terms of content selection and arrangement, it focuses on introducing basic knowledge, aiming to help you get started and eventually become an expert. The book is divided into nine chapters, rich in content, illustrated with images and text, easy to understand, and convenient for learning.
