Features: Actually, we have considered for a long time whether to title this series with the word "art." Nowadays, the term "art" is used too frequently, and we were afraid that readers might take it for granted and overlook our series. However, after careful consideration, we still decided to keep it because we believe our books truly deserve the title. We are even more convinced that the appreciation of art can reflect the essence of a person's life—it is extremely pure. Liking or disliking, admiring or not admiring, often comes unexpectedly, in a moment of suspense, when one deeply recalls the initial feeling, somewhat similar to the sudden arrival of love—free of any or worldly desires. Therefore, we firmly believe that when readers pick up any book in our series, the same feeling will instantly arise as their fingers turn the pages.
This series of five books, newly launched, are all about fashion. Among them, Fashion Show Art, Fashion Design Art, and Fashion Production Art are revised and reprinted editions, while the other two, Fashion Display Art and Fashion Drawing Techniques, are completely new editions. The overall artistic design of this series was created by Professor Peng Bo, Head of the Department of Visual Communication at the College of Art and Design, Donghua University. He is also the author of Fashion Display Art in our series. With exceptional artistic skills and a mind that keeps pace with the rapidly changing trends of the times, his design perfectly embodies and even exceeds our original artistic expectations for the series. Readers can also experience his dynamic and lively artistic talent through the images he personally recorded in Fashion Display Art.
Lastly, we extend our gratitude for the immense effort he dedicated to this series amidst his busy schedule. Without his involvement, our books would not have presented themselves to readers in such a beautiful form.
"The trend is ever-changing, but style endures." This is a famous quote by the master Coco Chanel. Regardless of how trends evolve, maintaining a unique personal style is the true mark of taste. And the cultivation of taste lies in the continuous accumulation day by day. This book aims to provide readers with some theoretical knowledge or practical guidance on fashion shows. The content covers most areas of the performance industry, offering a relatively comprehensive reflection of various aspects of performance art.
