Author Bio: Fang Yanming was born in Laiwu, Shandong in 1951. He graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Nanjing University in January 1977. He has long been engaged in cultural research, news writing, and editing, and is a recipient of the Gogongzhen Journalism Award. He has published academic works such as Introduction to News Culture, Extensibility of News Culture, Introduction to Mathematical Culture, and News Writing Guide, and has authored over 150 academic papers. He is currently the Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at Nanjing University.
