Features: The Second Northeast Asia Economic Cooperation Forum was successfully held in Weihai in October 2004, with the strong support of various government levels including the State Council, Ministry of Commerce, Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPC, Shandong Provincial People's Government, Weihai Municipal Committee of the CPC, and Weihai Municipal People's Government, and with the active assistance of well-known universities and academic institutions at home and abroad. Hundreds of important officials from the State Council, Ministry of Commerce, provincial government, and local governments at all levels, as well as experts and scholars from renowned universities and research institutions in Northeast Asia, attended the forum and engaged in lively discussions on the aforementioned topics. This book selects and compiles a portion of papers with high academic value and representativeness, aiming to provide a reference for the study of economic cooperation and development in Northeast Asia.
