Features: During the teaching process, students doing necessary and appropriate exercises not only helps to further understand and consolidate the knowledge they have learned but also serves as a preliminary application and practice of the knowledge. Therefore, it is essential to carefully consider and research what kind of exercises (content and form), how to do the exercises (methods and approaches), and what goals (functions and effects) should be achieved. To this end, the Teaching Materials Research Department of the Middle School Students' Learning Newspaper and the Beijing Langman Education and Research Center established a scientific research team on exercises, conducted serious research and exploration on these issues, and organized a group of distinguished teachers, senior teachers, and teaching and research specialists with rich teaching experience to compile a set of supplementary books titled "Subject-Specific Exercises and Unit Tests" for each subject of the "Experimental Textbooks for Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards" (Grades 7-9). This is to facilitate their use by teachers and students in teaching and learning, and it is hoped that this will attract the attention of the broader teaching and learning community, thereby accelerating the progress of scientific exercise research. The "Chinese Subject-Specific Exercises and Unit Tests" (Grade 9, First Semester) are based on the People's Education Press's published edition of the "" (Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards Experimental Textbooks).
