After the Dragon God grants a wish, it must wait a year before appearing again. During this time, Goku went to Master Roshi to train and then set off on another journey to find the Dragon Balls, eventually winning the World Martial Arts Tournament. Later, a great battle for the Dragon Balls ensued. Goku transformed into the Super Saiyan warrior and emerged victorious.
