Features: The College English Test for Non-English Majors (CET-SET) is a standardized examination established based on the "Basic Requirements for English Teaching in Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges" promulgated by the Ministry of Education of China. This test serves as a crucial "measure" for assessing the level of college English teaching in higher vocational and technical colleges. To effectively improve the college English application skills of students in these institutions while also enhancing the pass rate for the CET-SET, we have compiled this book. The book is divided into four parts. Part 1 is the syllabus for the CET-SET, designed to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the exam's question types, scoring criteria, and requirements from the outset, enabling them to study with clear objectives. Part 2 is the study guide, offering learning strategies tailored to the exam's question types, aimed at helping readers master effective English learning methods, avoid unnecessary detours, and thereby genuinely improve their practical English proficiency. Part 3 is the practice section, where we have meticulously developed five sets of mock tests for both Level A and Level B of the CET-SET, providing readers with intensive training for exam preparation and enhancing their accuracy in answering questions. Part 4 is the appendix, which includes reference answers to the mock tests and transcripts of the audio recordings, for readers' reference. This book can serve as both a teaching resource for college English instructors in higher vocational and technical colleges and as a self-study guide for students outside of class.
