In the Korean Language Proficiency Test, grammar and vocabulary always appear together. In the grammar section, the test primarily assesses candidates' understanding and application of particles and verb endings, as well as their comprehension and use of idiomatic expressions. In the vocabulary section, it mainly evaluates the meaning of words in dictionaries and their usage in sentences. Additionally, it assesses the ability to understand and use homonyms, synonyms, antonyms, idioms, four-character idioms, and proverbs.
In terms of question volume, vocabulary accounts for 14–15 questions, and grammar for 14–15 questions, so the distribution ratio remains relatively stable. Occasionally, there may be fewer vocabulary questions, but the total volume is almost the same, and the point values are nearly identical.
