Features: The new round of educational reform, curriculum reform, and examination reform has led to significant changes in China's college admission system, especially in the reform of examination content, which further emphasizes the assessment of candidates' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) rules, achieving excellent results with minimal input to gain maximum educational output, and thereby entering the halls of key universities, is not only the dream of countless students but also the constant pursuit of educators nationwide. In response, our school has once again collaborated with Longmen Bookstore to scientifically plan and organize the meticulous writing and publication of this comprehensive review series, "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination."
This series marks our first collaboration with the national-level publisher, Longmen Bookstore, to publish a middle and high school examination review series. Developed by the teaching staff of Qidong Middle School, who have created the "educational miracle" of Qidong Middle School, this series comprehensively summarizes the intellectual achievements of our school's frontline teachers in teaching and review guidance over the years, especially since the "3+X" college entrance examination reform. It effectively addresses the hot educational issue of how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge and ability levels and exam-taking skills under the new Gaokao system. It will also enable the wider dissemination and utilization of our school's high-quality educational resources, allowing teachers and students from other schools nationwide to share in Qidong Middle School's "Real Practice." At the same time, we will do our best to contribute practical experiences in China's basic education and the new round of curriculum and examination reforms.
During the actual writing process, the series follows the teaching and review progress of middle school (Grade 9) and senior high school (Grades 10-12), with the middle school examination divided into 2 rounds and the college entrance examination into 3 rounds.
The "Real Practice for the Middle School Examination" includes 6 subjects in each round: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Politics. The "Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination" includes 9 subjects in each round: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, and Geography. The third round also includes two comprehensive volumes: "Comprehensive for Liberal Arts" and "Comprehensive for Science." Each subject book in the first round is divided into two parts: A and B.
It can be said that this series is an invaluable practical guide for middle and high school review. Specifically:
- First Round (Foundation Phase): Written chapter by chapter or unit by unit, with a focus on interpreting key points from the new "Examination Guidelines" for the middle school examination, accompanied by a large number of detailed examples.
- Second Round (Ability Phase): Divided into thematic lectures and intensive training, primarily aimed at cultivating and enhancing students' comprehensive abilities, application skills, and innovative thinking. It also includes interdisciplinary comprehensive thematic lectures and training.
- Third Round (Final Sprint Phase): Designed for students to simulate, warm up, and prepare for the final sprint in April and May. Each volume meticulously includes 15 mock examination papers for the middle school and college entrance examinations, scientifically constructing a new platform for training aligned with the "Three Examination Directions" (middle school, high school, and examination points), achieving zero-distance contact with the 2006 middle and high school examinations.
As the saying goes, "Through countless efforts, though arduous, the relentless pursuit will eventually yield gold." The sample questions and predictions for the middle and high school examinations selected in this series are scientifically and standardized, extracted from a vast ocean of questions, and supplemented by the school's teachers' latest original questions. They are of extremely high value, authoritative, guiding, and targeted. The purpose is to help candidates accurately grasp the patterns of solving problems, improve their review efficiency, and enhance their exam-taking skills. This is also the aspiration of all the editorial committee members of "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination."
