Features: This book is a supplementary textbook for A Global History Curriculum·Ancient Volume. It follows the same format as the curriculum, divided into two parts: Part One and Part Two. Part One consists of selected historical materials and academic research reviews, while Part Two includes selected readings. A Global History Curriculum is a new-style textbook developed to meet the needs of world history teaching reform. Its overall approach is to leave ample "two spaces": space for teachers to deliver lectures and space for students to learn and think. Each chapter in Part One of this book corresponds to the chapters in the accompanying curriculum volumes and generally includes two main components:
1. Selected Historical Materials: This section selects typical primary sources from representative historical periods.
2. Academic Research Reviews: This section primarily introduces the current state of research on each historical period in the field of history, different historiographical perspectives in academic discussions, as well as significant or representative research findings with academic value.
