Features: Under the continuous standardization and vigorous promotion by the National Advisory Committee on English Majors in Higher Education, China's English Proficiency Level Testing for English Majors has been implemented across the country for over a decade. It has played a significant positive role in promoting and facilitating the teaching practice and reform of English majors in various institutions, receiving praise and support from. Over the past few years, I have been engaged in teaching English majors, which naturally has made me closely connected with the TEM-4 and TEM-8 tests. Many students have expressed a desire for a book with detailed explanations of past papers to prepare for the exams, but such a book has never been available on the market. It was in this context that I decided to write this book. During the writing process, I always planned the problem-solving approach from the perspective of the test-taker, organizing the content accordingly. For those questions that can be answered easily, the book keeps it concise. For those that require more thought, it provides detailed explanations to help students understand not only "what" but also "why." Therefore, the book not only presents the correct solutions but also frequently explains incorrect ones. In the process of explanation, I have consciously incorporated many relevant grammar and vocabulary points, introducing some effective techniques in reading, writing, and translation. As a result, this book serves not only as a guide to past paper analysis but also as a self-study resource for advanced English, which I believe will greatly benefit readers in improving their English proficiency. Due to my limited knowledge and the haste in completing the book, there may be places where the content is debatable or even incorrect. I sincerely welcome readers to point out any flaws or mistakes.
