Features: Jishi Shenzhen is a work based on the holistic view of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) known as "the correlation between heaven and man," adhering to the theories of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. It selects different acupoints, acupuncture tools, and needling techniques according to the specific conditions of the patient's illness to alleviate their symptoms. The work is easy to understand and learn, with clear procedures and detailed operation methods, making it suitable for medical practitioners to follow for treating patients. It aims to help patients recover from illnesses. The author follows ancient principles without rigid adherence, respects established rules without being inflexible, and emphasizes the importance of leveraging the physician's subjective initiative during treatment. This makes the small silver needle an effective tool for adjusting the balance of Yin and Yang in the human body and adapting to the living environment. This is particularly crucial in acupuncture therapy. The author believes that, strictly speaking, this is the essence and truth of acupuncture and moxibustion. Humans live between heaven and earth, and all human activities must align with the changes in the living environment, including the natural world, climate, society, and more. Otherwise, various physical and mental discomforts may arise. Humans cannot survive independently of the natural and social environment, and the health of the human body depends on its harmony with the larger living environment. Therefore, to avoid illness, reduce the frequency of illness, stay strong, and live a longer life, people must pay attention to adapting to and regulating the living environment.
