Features: I can no longer tolerate Freud's thoroughness. He grasped Sophocles' Oedipus, Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Ibsen's Rosmersholm. He grasped history, men and women, light, and even darkness. If he were unreasonable, people could simply ignore him—as the Chinese do. But they don’t. He always has a reason, even if "one claw is caught, the whole body is bound." Rationality is already frightening enough—is Scholastic logic something we can escape? Seeing through phenomena to the essence, what I see is exactly what I can or need to see. What are you thinking? Look at your eyes, your hands, your feet? All of this can be logically deduced. "Humans die, Zhang San is human—therefore Zhang San dies"—a syllogism is enough to construct the entire world, let alone "a speck of dust is destroyed, and the entire universe will collapse."
