Author Bio: Song Yang, male, born in 1981, Gemini, A blood type. He has long been involved in comics, visual design, game setting, column writing, independent film, and DJing, preferring a free and casual lifestyle. In 1998, he published his first long-running comic series "The Magic Box" in Huaxia Youth, earning him the title of "Xinjiang Comic Pioneer." In 2000, he studied visual and graphic design in Tianjin. In January 2001, Song Yang's Art Studio was officially established. From January 2004 to the present, he has successively released the novel and comic versions of "Penguins Sitting Across the Other Side," the comic adaptation of Wang Shuo's novel "Animal Instincts," and the comic adaptation of Haiyan's novel "Jade Beauty." Additionally, he has created works such as the "Biemendeng Series Comic Trend Magazine," the long-form four-panel comic "The Clumsy Khan," and others. His work has sparked intense debate in the comic industry. Beijing Youth Weekly called Song Yang the most star-like comic artist. In August 2004, he was invited to hold a solo comic exhibition at Tianjin Youth Palace, kicking off a series of national solo comic exhibitions in Nanjing, Xuzhou, and other cities. It is planned to showcase his works on an aircraft carrier and the Potala Palace. That same month, after his cover art for "Penguins Sitting Across the Other Side" was used by Poshun Mobile in advertising without permission, he sued the company and won. The case was hailed by the media as a landmark victory for protecting intellectual property rights in mainland China's animation and comics industry.
