Features: "The Music Lover" was launched alongside the founding of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Lover's Association. By September 2005, it had already weathered 20 years of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, experiencing both sweetness and bitterness. Its growth and development have been nurtured by the efforts of many people. The late Shanghai Symphony Orchestra President Huang Yijun, the current Director Chen Xiyang, have always shown great care and support, extending a helping hand whenever difficulties arose. Literary giants such as Xiao Qian, renowned writer Zhao Lihong, and music luminaries He Luting, Li Delun, Zhu Jiance, Qu Wei, Cao Peng, Zheng Xiaoying, and Lu Zaiyi, among others, have all contributed articles or inscriptions, offering their sincere hopes. Life is like a wild goose footprint on snow—it is unpredictable. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the association's founding, we dedicate this slim volume, which has witnessed the growth of the association and also the development of China's symphony music industry in the new era, to all the members and music lovers, as well as to everyone who cares about it. Many of the articles may not be fully mature, but they are honest and sincere, representing the crystallization of 20 years of effort by "The Music Lover."
