Features: The "Collected Papers on Graduate English Teaching and Research" is a compilation of papers organized and edited by the Beijing Graduate English Teaching Research Association. It is a collection of papers on graduate English teaching and research from higher education institutions. Most of the authors are college teachers engaged in graduate English teaching, possessing rich teaching experience and strong research capabilities. The 2005 edition of the collection has the following characteristics: There are more contributing authors than in any previous year. Some universities recommended manuscripts after extensive teaching seminars. Among the contributors are not only highly respected senior teachers and mid-career core teaching staff, but also many young teachers who have recently joined graduate English teaching. Teachers from outside the city also submitted papers. In addition to English teaching and research, a small number of papers cover the study of minor languages.
