Features: As a part of China's higher education system, the self-study examination has achieved remarkable results. With the continuous progress of Chinese society and economy, the demand for legal professionals has gradually increased. In recent years, the number of self-study examinees has reached new highs, with more and more people choosing this unique Chinese path to success. Therefore, it is our responsibility to compile supplementary guidebooks that highlight the characteristics of self-study and align with the actual needs of the self-study examination.
The self-study examination is a proficiency test, where the syllabus and textbooks serve as the basis for question setting. However, this does not mean that the exam questions are entirely based on the literal expressions of the assessment points in the syllabus and textbooks. Instead, when setting questions, the overall objectives of the course are taken as a reference to comprehensively assess the knowledge content and ability requirements of the course. For examinees who primarily rely on self-study, the key to success lies in their ability to transition from grasping knowledge to developing skills during their learning process. Helping candidates complete this transition and smoothly pass the exam is our purpose in writing this book.
This book consists of two parts: Part I: Examination Guide, which, based on the syllabus and textbooks, places greater emphasis on grasping the overall knowledge framework. It highlights review patterns according to the characteristics of self-study and explains examination techniques in strict accordance with the requirements of various question types in the exam. Part II: Key Assessment Points and Self-Test Questions and Solutions, which, following the syllabus and textbooks, is organized chapter by chapter to further reinforce the key assessment points and carefully design exercises accordingly. Knowledge is the carrier of ability. By integrating knowledge and ability through exercises, candidates can not only comprehensively and systematically master knowledge but also make it more flexible. At the same time, this practical training helps identify gaps, focus on key areas, and ultimately improve their ability.
This book is organized and written by authoritative institutions, with self-study examination experts taking the lead in drafting. They are either the main compilers or key participants in the syllabus and textbook development, or long-term invigilators at the main examining institutions, possessing rich practical experience and familiarity with common issues faced by candidates. This ensures that the book is both authoritative and accurate, highly targeted.
This book is edited by Professor Jin Ruilin, Director of the National Higher Education Self-Study Examination Law Committee, and Professor Rao Geping, Secretary-General of the Law Committee, as the chief editors.
