Publishing Date: 2000-05-01
Features: The history of philosophy does not provide ready-made truths; the history of Western philosophy is the process of philosophers pursuing wisdom and truth. To understand any philosopher in history, one must first understand his questions. To embody this philosophical view and the view of the history of philosophy, this book selects some fundamental issues in metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics as the focus of attention. The raising, transformation, and continuation of these issues, the debates centered around them, and the conclusions reached are the threads of this book.
