Features: The role of intellectual property in today's international trade is becoming increasingly important, and the quantity and quality of patents owned by enterprises are indicators of innovation capabilities. This book discusses the role of the intellectual property system in promoting corporate internationalization and international economic and trade activities. The main research content of this paper includes: the essential characteristics of property rights systems; the relationship and role of knowledge-based development and internationalization in economic development; an empirical analysis of China's use of the intellectual property system to promote outward-oriented economic models, particularly in Guangdong; an analysis of transaction costs related to trade-related intellectual property systems; a game analysis of the intellectual property system in the context of economic globalization; China's use of the intellectual property system to promote the implementation of internationalization strategies; establishing and improving China's independent intellectual property innovation and protection system. The paper emphasizes that achieving self-owned foreign trade patents through technological innovation requires both internal and external factors to be at play. As for enterprises, to obtain more self-owned foreign trade patents through technological innovation, they must be adept at managing the relationship between internal and external factors. Enterprises must prioritize and effectively implement the work of obtaining self-owned patents through technological innovation as a key task in their production and operational management. This is not only necessary for enterprises to shift their focus from relying primarily on tangible resources to leveraging intangible resources, especially self-owned patents, as the main driver of development, but also essential for enhancing competitiveness and ensuring a strong position. It is also a need for all stakeholders related to foreign trade patents to embrace the knowledge economy era and address the opportunities and challenges following China's entry into the WTO transition period.
